In a Nutshell
Situated on the south-eastern coast of Africa, Mozambique is a huge, underdeveloped country recovering from the ravages of war. Its 3000km-long and peaceful coastline offers marvellous bathing, diving and fishing opportunities and seafood is plentiful.

Top Attractions

  • The tropical islands of Bazeruto, Benguera and Margaruque - offer wonderful deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, swimming and other warm water activities in remote and beautiful surrroundings
  • Inhaca Island - in the middle of Maputo Bay, 45 mins by dhow and 10 mins by air, where you and swim and snorkel in the lagoon, and walk for miles along deserted beaches fringed by mangroves.
  • Ilha de Mozambique - a world heritage site and its Fortress of San Sebastian, built in the 16th Century.
